Errors in the vmware-cmd command when using the “commit” option

As part of my research to improve the REDO White Paper I wrote recently – I was playing with vmware-cmd, and stumbled across a bug. If you run ESX 2.5.1 or older – this bug is present. It has been fixed in ESX 2.5.2. The vmware-cmd file is actually a perl script and it has a bug in it. You can correct this error if you ever come across it by following the instructions in this KB Article
