I’d like to introduce readers to a new blog on my blog roll run by Stuart Radnidge – its called www.vinternals.com. I sure like sysinternal’s Stuart is hoping to bought out one day! Stuart has been doing some interesting engineering to the ESX3i installable format. I’m particular interested in the fact he managed to extract the DD image of ESX3i. I think this might be dd-able back to a memory stick. I’ve been asking pals at VMware for a copy of the DD of the GA version of ESX3i for sometime – but it hasn’t been forthcoming. If I can get it to work the Kingston Memory stick at VMworld I will know I’m along the right lines.
