VMware has released a new version of their Windows Vi Toolkit OR in otherways VMware PowerShell (not to be confused with PowersHell). Picked this up from Mike Di Petrillo’s blog – Mike also points us in the direction of the videos that show you what can done:

I’m especially interested in VMware PowersHell because I’ve written an entire chapter on its use with vSphere for my operation book. Thought it was time to ween myself of the good old-fashioned COS. I still intend to write a CLI guide to the Service Console, but as a free PDF not in the main book.
