MS Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MEVD Beta) has been released as part of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack. This tool does for Windows 7 what VMware Fusion does for the Mac. That is to say you can use legacy apps on the newest desktop OS. Applications run natively in a hidden virtual machine.
