VMware vSphere4 VCP4 Beta Exam

The other day I recieved my invite to the VCP4 Beta Exam. I’ve scheduled the exam for the last day you can take it which is the 17th July. According to the invite email the real deal will be released sometime in August. I got the invite in part through being in the beta programme, and mainly because I’m certified VMware instructor…

If I pass it will qualify as a real VCP4, but I won’t find out my results for another 6-8 weeks! That’s well after the real exam has been released. I’ve been working with the product since Oct 2008, and of course I’ve been writing a book on the darn thing since then. But I will do a small amount preperation before hand, mainly boning up on the max/min values from the capacity document.
