Well, the competition has closed. I received many entries. I will be announcing the winners shortly – and the amount of money raised for Unicef.

Open to any country? Looks like a very sweet deal to me…

Mike,
Is the unidentified item from EMC a shank-wrapped, light blue squarish disk with their cloud logo on it?
If so then it is a vacuum packed Tee Shirt.
If it is a rubberized cloud, a hash symbol and the number 1 then your guess is as good as mine.
I got these at their store but had to unpack them back in the hotel room before working out what they were!
Keep up the good work for UNICEF.
Regards
Steve

I’ll have to second David’s question if the contest is available to those in the US? Great to hear you on the VMware Communities Roundtable podcast!

Sorry – i thought I’d answered David’s question – i think WordPress must have got confused.
Yes, the competition is open to EVERYONE world wide. I should be able to send the bag – well packed – marked as a gift and worth less than <$100 that way no one should have to pay customs to Uncle Sam to receive the swag…

All the zipper handles on my green VMWorld 2009 backpack have broken so $2 sounds like a good deal for a replacement! (those zippers look more heavy-duty as well)
