RTFM Releases: ESX 3.x Service Console Guide
Hi there,
This week I spent sometime writing a guide to the Service Console command-line environment. I’ve still got many things to add in time like
- Active Directory Authentication
- NTP Setup
- SAN Configuration and Multipathing
But its more or less there. Experienced COS/vmnix users will still benefit from this guide – as contains usage information associated with the new esxcfg-style commands.
This is NOT for anyone who is new to product. Familiarise yourself with VI Client and how ESX 3.x and VirtualCenter 2.x work before even thinking about looking at this guide. It’s not for faint-hearted. That said I don’t want to put people off either. I just don’t want to get flak for putting this stuff out against novices who then get in a pickle!
