VMworld 2008 Europe: Day One: In the Solutions Exchange

I did have breakout sessions planned for the afternoon – but as ever in these events – in the progress from one locale to another – you bump into those guys you saw at VMworld SF/LA or TSX Paris/Nice. It’s chance to get reacquainted and for me to ask people what they think of the event so far, what their latest project is, and what their main take-away has been. Naturally, that last question doesn’t really get formulated until people are picking up their goodies and heading to the airport. I took sometime out to hook up with my fellow vi3book.com authors Scott Herold and Ron Oglesby. I was pleased to see our first “authors” edition of the vi3book in hard copy. I must say I was pretty proud. I signed a couple of Scott’s copies which he was handing out to the great and good at the event. We had hoped to have the book on Amazon this week.  Personally, I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to check even now – as I file this report from Paris, Charles De Gaulle airport. If it’s not there on .com to order by next week I would be surprised.
