Totally agree!! How are you supposed to learn new ways of doing things besides paying VM support or paying for their overpriced training where you get to do a generalized lab.

Bring back a subscription based license so we can setup labs at home. This will benefit everyone, well except the Education Department at VMware.

What could be the reason that I could not select array based replication at all, it show fracture but in fact mirror view is synching fine in EMC.

Hi Mike

I wanted to have this book for a similar setup as one of the other commentors, a lab setup with UBER 3.2 with SRM 4.1 and vSphere 4.1.

So imagine my surprise when I found out the link no longer works. Clicking on the link just transfer you to a www.lulu.com page that states ""Hmmm, we can't find this product, but we have many other great offerings!""

I have just bought your SRM 5 book from Amazon.co.uk, and so far it looks very promising, but I also wanted to have a little further background from this earlier version.

Kind regards

Perhaps Vaughn misspoke? Easy enough to do in a recording... I've not had time to check out the new VSC since getting back. But it is on my very long "to do" list!

Looks like some great videos Mike! Just watched the VSC 4.0 video and LOVED your suggestions at the end. I had the exact same suggestions. Vaughn says the first suggestion of adding datastores to a new host in the cluster has already been fixed. Let me know if you find that. I've been using the new version of VSC and haven't seen that fixed yet.
